[Ryodan] Environment Urgent Action: Invite: Clean Up the World on Sept 16

Shalimar and fellow Ryodan,

Please find the application form attached for a possible registration of BROOD to become part of the CLean Up the Philippines 2006 campaign and activities.

I am encouraging all chapters to create an activity for this event on September 16 which encompasses support for various events and activities.  Chapters can also make use of the form as a reference and guide for the creation of their activities. Below is an information about Clean Up the Philippines:

CLEAN UP THE PHILIPPINES is a national environmental campaign recognized as part of Clean Up the World.  Clean Up the Philippines campaign is coordinated and promoted by Clean Up the Philippines Movement in Manila, Philippines.

Clean Up the World is a global environmental campaign held in conjunction with the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP).  Clean Up the World involves more than 35 million volunteers from over 100 countries each year, making it one of the most successful environmental campaigns in the world.  Clean Up the World global campaign is coordinated and promoted by Clean Up the World Pty Ltd in Sydney, Australia.

Clean Up the Philippines� objective is to promote the Clean Up the World campaign in our Country.  Its mission is to inspire individuals and communities around the Philippines to clean up, fix up and conserve the environment.

The campaign brings together businesses, community groups, schools, government and individuals in a range of activities and programs that can positively improve the state of our local environment.

Groups, organizations, businesses and communities in the Philippines can register as Member and participate in the Clean Up the Philippines campaign.  Membership is free and renewable annually.

By becoming a Member, participants can share information and experiences with Clean Up the World�s global network and positively change the local environment.

Clean Up the Philippines, with the support of Clean Up the World, provides a range of information, support and facilitation services aimed at assisting Members in the Philippines to organize and promote local clean up events and other environmental initiatives.
