Affiliations

• Youth for Sustainable Development Assembly (YSDA) -  YSDA-Pilipinas Inc. is a national network of youth and youth-serving organizations to support youth involvement in sustainable development at varying levels starting with the local community.  As of our 5th National Congress held last April 2005, we have members 13 youth & youth-serving groups from Tuguegarao to Basilan reaching out to more than 300+ local youth groups nationwide.

• Asia-Europe Youth Network on Sustainable Development (AEYNSD) - A network composed of youth organizations and individuals who focuses on sustainable development issues.  It covers Asia and Europe.  BROOD is part of the Steering Committee and Operations Group for this network.

• Waging Peace Network - This is a new network focused on peace advocacy and is organized from the Waging Peace in the Philippines Conference on December 2007.

• Generation Peace Network (GenPeace) - The Generation Peace Youth Network believes that peace is possible through the collective effort of all sectors of our society, including the youth sector. We, the youth, are here to discuss peace and conflict and to forge empowered partnerships for the advancement of peace and human rights. Gen Peace works hand in hand with other organizations on peace advocacy and peace-building by putting peace at the front and center of our organizations agenda. Gen Peace affirms the pivotal role of the youth in the continuity and sustainability of peace. Our Stand, Our Time! We are a generation that resort to non-violence and advocate peaceful means to resolve conflict. We refuse to be passive and miss the historic opportunity to bring the conflicts to an end. What better stand than PEACE! What better time than NOW!

• National Youth Commission  - The NYC provides the youth with opportunities to be an active partner in nation-building through youth programs and projects that will develop and harness their potentials and enable them to be of great service to their country and community.

• Partido Kalikasan - In the recently concluded BROOD National Congress in the Philippines and the 1st National Council Meeting, the organization had declared support for Partido Kalikasan, an emerging political green party.  Members of the Environment Committee will seek membership to the party and help party building.

• UNFPA Youth Advisory Panel - Through Ace of Teatro Sambisig, Inc. BROOD is sitting as a member of the Youth Advisory Panel of the United Nations Population Fund from 2007 - 2009.
  

• Video Game Empire -  International alliance of video game enthusiasts.  This linkage will help the forming of the BROOD Gamers Guild and Alliance.

• Taking IT Global -  an online community that connects youth to find inspiration, access information, get involved, and take action in their local and global communities. It is now the world's most popular online community for young people interested in making a difference, with hundreds of thousands of unique visitors each month.

• Action Without Borders -   Idealist.org is a portal for everyone interested in nonprofit organizations and issues, nonprofit careers, volunteering, events, and resources. Idealist.org provides services to the global community in an effort to connect people, resources, and nonprofit organizations.

• Stop Child Poverty International - BROOD is one of the first Philippine-based organization to be a member of this cause.  The focus of the Stop Child Poverty campaign is to raise awareness of child poverty worldwide, and to help everyday world citizens make a difference in the lives of children in need. Stop Child Poverty works to promote the United Nations Millennium Development Goals to halve extreme poverty by 2015.
  

• Global Youth Action Network - GYAN is a youth-led organization that unites the efforts of young people working to improve our world. The Network connects many thousands of organizations in over 190 countries and a growing membership is now helping to shape the future direction of GYAN.
